Q.Where we send to;
A. We send to England , Scotland , Wales , Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands.
Q. why only these areas?
A. As we want you to receive your flowers in the best condition possible the mail service to other areas can't provide this, other areas would be subject to longer delivery times meaning our flowers would not be received in tip top condition.
Q. how long does it take?
A. Normally we would expect the flower to be despatched from Jersey in the early afternoon and reach the United Kingdom in the evening. The majority of deliveries are made on the following morning except for the 'highlands and islands' which will probably take a day longer.
Do you send every day?:
No, we send Monday to Thursday only. Holidays and bank holidays and other special days like mothering Sunday have exceptions.
Q. What are your deadlines?
A. Orders have to be received before 12 (noon) for despatch that day.
Q what does happen if the recipient is not at home?
A. The postman making the delivery can leave the box in a safe place or with a neighbour or they may return it to the sorting office and leave a note requesting collection. Please advise us which option is best.

Q. How big are the flowers?
A. Size of the Roses will vary with different varietys, we will send roses in a 'tight bud' that way they are less likely to be damaged and will last longer, they will still be growing and the size of the bloom will increase, so do allow for this to happen.
Q. Where do the flowers come from?
A. Many of our flowers are grown in the Channel Islands but we source others from the most reliable growers in different parts of the world.
Q. How are the flowers packed and dispatched?
A. The flowers are securely packed into boxes with cotton moisture wraps to the stems. They require a little attention upon receipt. They stems should be cut and the flowers placed in deep cold water to re-hydrate them. The boxes contain full instructions for treating the flowers and also a sachet of flower food to prolong vase life. |
